I recently rented a fish eye lens to try it out before actually purchasing a “fun” lens like this. It was a lot of fun to play around with objects and non human subjects. This particular lens is a a Nikon lens, 10.5mm. I rented it from BorrowLenses.com. They were fast, the lens came substantially packaged, complete with a label to FedEx the lens back. I will absolutely be using them again! All in all, I think I will rent another fisheye again but maybe a lens that is not as wide angle. You can find the specific lens I used here. I quickly opened the box at home and tried it out on my cute, crazy and sometimes super pitiful looking dog. She knows how to play up sad, no?

I then spent the afternoon at my Mom’s super cool Riverside condo where the light is awesome and she has super interesting things to photograph. 

I then headed to downtown Tulsa. I know tall city buildings have been done many times before with a fisheye lens but I had to try it out too!
