The Wilson Family

I was honored to photograph this beautiful, sweet family. Newborn baby A slept the entire time but also gave me big gorgeous smiles. I love newborn lifestyle sessions because they are candid, fun and show the connections and love between family members. They are as close to being real life that a photo session can get (in my opinion). Its a glimpse inside what the family is like and I feel grateful to be part of that even if for a short amount of time.

I love this picture. So sweet and fun and everyone has an authentic expression. No one is allowed to be stiff and not having fun at my sessions!

So relaxed and happy in Daddy’s arms. Dad was a natural in front of the camera. He just held his baby girl and I captured the real life moments.

This will forever hold a place in my portfolio. Shot with black and white film, this is one of those pictures I shot after I put everything away and was “done” with our shoot. The light was coming through the window so perfectly, I asked mom to pick baby back up for a few more shots. All three of them were stellar if I do say so myself.

Everyone pay attention to the sleepy little warm body with the bow in her hair.
