Fun with Film Friday

At the heart of my love for photography are two things, film and fun snap shots with loved ones. So naturally, I would still enjoy indulging in this from time to time (or more than that :). I bought a Polaroid camera this year, takin’ is back to the old school I suppose. Its not cheap, but it’s so fun to take the picture and have something to hold in my hand and to give to friends. I even bought a little photo album specially made for the Polaroids (its yellow, of course).  Since I still have a love for film in general (black and white mostly), I decided to come up with a blog to have an outlet to share these pictures. So “Fun with Film Friday” was born.

In general, I encourage everyone to print pictures both professional and snap shots. If your professional photographer does not offer printing services for your family portraits, I recommend  www.mpix.com for professional pictures and snap shots. If your professional photographer does offer printing services, I highly recommend utilizing them for their expertise and the access they have to professional labs. Fun at home with my two loves.

My husband Steve and I made our way to the Tulsa State Fair as we have every year since we started dating 12 years ago. Its kind of our thing.

My niece and nephew live out of state and I love when I get to spend time with them. This time, I got to keep them overnight. I wanted to do something extra fun with them so we took them to Incredible Pizza. As you can see, my super duper over the top expressive niece enjoyed herself.  She is a lucky chicka as she has the sweetest most caring big bubba in the whole world.
