Boudoir Photography

I love doing boudoir photo shoots! I have been doing them for about 13 years and I love capturing the beauty of each woman and letting her see how amazing she looks. Laura’s Shoot

When it comes to boudoir, I love using fun props! I don’t typically use a lot of props in my other types of photography, but there is something playful and different about boudoir. Usually when I do a boudoir session, it will be the only time this particular young lady will have her boudoir pictures taken so I want them to be a fun experience and give her plenty of variety.

This has to be my favorite series from our shoot. The early afternoon light was amazing that day. Laura’s fair skin looks amazing against the off white blanket, coupled with the handmade coffee cup she is drinking from makes this series a home run. The cup was made by amazing pottery artist in Kansas City. The artist and her husband own a truly unique bed and breakfast in Kansas City (click here to visit their website).

Laura’s skin and eyes are flawless and memorizing.

I love Laura’s classic red nails and simple pearls earrings! And its not a bad thing that the wall behind  her is yellow because her gorgeous red hair stands out against it. Oh and I heart yellow anything.
